Welcome to Sea Cottage in Studland
Sea Cottage is a spacious, detached house, situated near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac (unadopted and bumpy), with views over the National Trust heath to the sea and Bournemouth beyond. It is furnished with family comfort in mind – all the necessities but no frills. If you are looking for a modern and up-to-the-minute house, then perhaps Sea Cottage is not for you. However, if you enjoy total quiet, beautiful views and wildlife, as many of our visitors do, then you will surely find these and much more in this glorious location. The good-sized garden is totally secluded and consists of lawn and mature trees. The front drive provides ample parking for 2/3 cars.
Studland is in the heart of a National Trust area and, as a result, is unspoilt and peaceful - ideal for anyone looking for a quiet holiday, or a short break. The safe, sandy beach is about half a mile away – an easy drive by car or a beautiful walk over fields. There is a network of paths over the heath, which can be accessed from the front gate. For golfers, the nearby Isle of Purbeck Golf Course offers a challenging 18-hole course and an easier 9-hole course. Both courses have stunning views of Poole Harbour. Ornithologists will be interested in the Arne Reserve and Brownsea Island. For smaller children, Studland village has a small recreational park, with swings etc. and a football area. The well-stocked village shop (with post office) and pub are within easy walking distance.
Sea Cottage Sleeps 7 and one dog is allowed.
